| CFM
completed a facilities summary and master plan in 2000, which supported
Benedict College’s desire to develop an athletic complex on a
sprawling 60-acre tract on the campus of this private college. Based on
the information contained in the summary, CFM
developed the programmatic
requirements and produced the schematic design for a new health and
fitness complex. Phase 1 design, which is nearing completion, includes
baseball and softball diamonds; a soccer field; six tennis courts; a
football practice field; a clubhouse; jogging and biking trails; and
both adult and child exercise circuits. Phase 2 will include a premium
10,000-seat football stadium with natatorium and community fitness
center. |
