provided the urban design, planning, architecture, and engineering for
this project. The West Gate Project is 50 acres of property being
purchased by the NBC Development Corporation for the purposes of
building a mixed-use complex. An office tower, commercial space,
housing, hotel, hospital and magnet high school for medicine. The West
Gate area is an urban community with rapid transit and interstate
highways. From this location the airport is only ten minutes away, and
downtown Atlanta is only five minutes away. The development concept was
based upon the cooperative concept and maximum utilization of the MARTA
West End Station. The character and function of the various facilities
is an expression of complete community.
