Charles F. McAfee, FAIA, NOMA, PA designed prepared contract documents, and managed construction for a $950,000 facility that housed both fire fighting and EMS operations. The 10,000 SF station featured four full drive-through bays/apparatus rooms, along with separate men’s and women’s dormitories and complete shower/lavatory facilities (total occupancy: 10 fire fighters and 5 EMS technicians), gymnasium, kitchen and dining area, separate EMS lounge, public lobby and restrooms, multipurpose room, watch area/base station, four administrative offices, and laundry/utility room.
