| The
problem was to remodel the interior of an existing Catholic Church in a
low income, predominately black community into a multi-use center for
all ages. The solution was to create within the existing space a
facility where children might study, participate in group activities or
just be exposed to the world around them; where young people might
dialogue for the answers to the problems of their world, or enjoy plays
and fashion shows; where adults can find books in the library or others
who were grateful for their donated services.
